Originated in 1992 from a small group of scientists and entrepreneurs, POLYSAN has grown into a modern innovative company with own manufacturing facility, equipped with high-end technology from leading global equipment manufacturers and own research center for development of pharmaceutical products.

POLYSAN production complex has been perceived as a generally recognized platform for integration of advanced pharmaceutical technologies in Russia.

1992 — 1994

1992 — St. Petersburg. “POLYSAN” company was founded.

1992 — Development of multipurpose medicinal product, unique not only in Russia but also worldwide: “Cycloferon®”.

1995 — 1998

1995 — “Cycloferon®” (solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration) was registered for medicinal use in Ministry of Health.

1996 — License received for “Cycloferon®” production.

1999 — 2001

1999 — Registration of “Reamberin®”, the world's first infusion medicinal product based on succinic acid.

2000 — Registration of “Cycloferon®” tablet form

2000 — Decision was made on construction of own pharmaceutical plant in St. Petersburg.

2002 — 2004

2002 — POLYSAN acquired API manufacturing plant “Polisintez” LLC in Belgorod.

2004 — Registration of "Cytoflavin®" medicinal product (solution).

2004 — POLYSAN was awarded the Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology "For the development of technology, organization of commercial production, and introduction into medicinal practice of "Cycloferon®" finished medicinal product.

2005 — 2008

2005 — First stage of the pharmaceutical plant was commissioned.

2007 — Upon completion of international audit, POLYSAN pharmaceutical plant was granted international GMP EU certificate.

2006 — Registration of "Cytoflavin®" medicinal product (tablet).

2009 — 2011

2009 — Registration of "Remaxol®" medicinal product.

2010 — “Cycloferon®”, “Cytoflavin®”, and “Reamberin®” were entered in the List of Vital and Essential Drugs.

2010 — POLYSAN was awarded the Russian Government Prize in Science and Technology "For the development of Cytoflavin."

2012 — 2014

2012 — Second stage of the pharmaceutical plant, contemporary and state-of-the art warehouse and in-house power supply facility were constructed and commissioned.

2012 — Start of cooperation with international pharmaceutical company Nizhpharm.

2014 — POLYSAN became winner of "100 Best Organizations in Russia: Ecology and Environmental Management" competition.

2015

2015 — POLYSAN and Bayer company entered into strategic partnership agreement on manufacturing of Bayer products at Polysan's facilities and signed manufacturing contract.

2015 — POLYSAN won competition in "Clean Waters of the Baltic" category.

2016 — 2017

2016 — POLYSAN and the biopharmaceutical company Pfizer signed an agreement on production of three Pfizer drug products at POLYSAN pharmaceutical plant.

2017 — Having undergone the audit from Chili POLYSAN received an updated GMP certificate.

2017 — POLYSAN project on plant capacity modernization was recognized as a strategic investment project for St. Petersburg.

2018

2018 — Commissioning of the third stage of POLYSAN pharmaceutical plant, with a total area of 9,800 square meters.

2018 — Production of Pfizer's “Yakvinus®” medicinal product for rheumatoid arthritis treatment was launched.

2019 — 2022

2019 — Registration of Cytoflavin® in Vietnam was completed.

2020 — POLYSAN ranked among top 10 companies in St. Petersburg.

2021 — POLYSAN was granted EAEU GMP certificate.

2022 — Registration procedure for “Cytoflavin®” was completed in Indonesia.

2023 — 2024

2023 — Polysan has carried out the first delivery of “Reamberin®”, 400 ml to Indonesia.

2024 — POLYSAN passed the licensing inspection of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

2023 — Registration of “Remaxol®” was completed in Mongolia.

2024 — The first shipment of Cytoflavin® to Indonesia.

2025 — 2026

2025 — Start of POLYSAN investment project implementation– construction of a new distribution center and pharmaceutical production facility.

2025 – Registration of “Unifuzol®” original drug product.
